Hey guys, Rick's still working on things, just had a busy year end!
Things are looking better and better with every update that he texts me, but I'll let him explain things here as he has a far better way of doing it than I can ever hope for ;)
figure out what kind of an edge you want. get a work sharp, i have a ken onion edition and it's amazing for a beginner like me.
get some cheap butter knifes and practice with them, that way, no biggie if you screw em up!
got the frame painted (used KBS coatings system). once the paint is cured, reassembly can commence! At least I can get it to a roller and install the motor later on... Exciting!!!
Very cool. Did you make that oil filter cooler? Wondering if I could simple do the same to my Heiden cooler...
Does it use a stock oil filter under it? What size Earls cooler did you use?
