I just did both o/f filter screens on a 1982 engine. I am installing it in a 1978 frame.

I have a 1982 engine with a 1978 bike, engine DOA,wires were chopped at the head by a previous "builder". I have a new Mike's XS correct wiring harness with extra used accessories plugged in to it from a previous eBay seller. I just got the correct Yamaha...
I will just play it safe and use an appropriate fuse block,or independent fuse holders. Those homemade do dads could short, I never trust tape to isolate power connections.....

Yup,yup, last owner of my bike had just the main hooked up and all the old fuse connectons just hangin' there, YEEEE HAAAWWW !! The bike was FREE, so I can't complain...
