I paid 80.00 for the leather and the shop charged me 150.00. Really cool guy in Eugene, Or. I don't what he used for foam, it's reasonably stiff. I have him the stock seat to use as template. Another shop in town quoted me 400.00.

Thanks for the pix! In not using things like blinkers and a few other items, it should make for a cleaner and thinner harness. I bought the replacement coils from Mikes and the colors don't match originals. Things like that make a rookie nervous. Pics of Condenser wire and points cam wire...

When your brilliant like me and forget to properly document where things were and have a hard time grasping wiring schematics pictures help a lot! Any of you willing to take pictures of connection areas? Inside headlight, both sides of bike, under seat.... I bet if someone made a video on...

I know it's been discussed ad nauseam but.. In doing away with these items can I simply remove these wires or do other connections depend upon them, specifically the items mentioned. I have seen every wiring diagram available and wether it's to many blows to the head or simple stupidity it...

Well, based on your input I'm asking 500.00 for what's there. I've had 3 hits from xs.com classifieds, all want me to separate engine and ship for 400.00 or cheaper. I'll put it on Craigslist and see what happens. Thanks for your help fellas! Have a great weekend!

Actually works pretty well with all the screws, bolts and smallish parts. Mines the small one, about 6"x 3"x 4". The fluid is pretty spendy and it get dirty quick. There are lots of do it yourself recipes all over. I paid 20.00 for mine and have used it multiple times.

That's hilarious! I went absolutely nuts the first time I tried to take one out without removing back tire. Wound up buying another on EBay after the ensuing carnage.
