    Free - Floating Tool(s)

USPS arrived a day early! Just pulled my.rotor and also the rotor from my parts bike as a preemptive measure. They both popped right off with a socket on the puller bolt and a crescent wrench on the puller sleeve. Oh, and the rotor retaining bolt comes right off with an impact wrench. The...

To the last 3 guys, did you read the thread? He has (allegedly) burned a member here months ago, and hasn't posted in this thread in even longer. A 4 second investigation showed me that he hasn't signed in since early September. Would you want to do business with a person like this?

Did I lace this wheel correctly?

Well, I have it back together again. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? Sparkys inner spokes all go the same direction, mine go in opposite directions (per side). I can take more specific pics if needed. I just really need to know if this is put together correctly.

Did I lace this wheel correctly?

In your pic, you have the inner spokes going the same direction on both sides. Is that right? Other pics I'm looking up show the spokes going the opposite direction.

Did I lace this wheel correctly?

That makes sense to me, how to I figure out which way I have to clock the spokes over? Maybe this pic will help, using the hub webbing as a reference point.

Did I lace this wheel correctly?

Maybe this will help explain what I mean. Spokes 1-4 are the loose ones after 6 turns. They all go to the outside of the hub. (The arrow shows which side) Spokes 5-8 are the fairly snug ones after 6 turns. They all go to the inside of the hub.

Did I lace this wheel correctly?

I just tried to start snuggling the nipples up, I think I have an issue. I was going to give each spoke 6 turns, and when I got to the end I noticed a pattern. I have 4 nipples in a row that are close to snug, then 4 in a row that are at least 1/2" away from the nipple head contacting the inner...

Did I lace this wheel correctly?

Howdy, this is my first shot at lacing a wheel. Did I do it correctly? I've tried looking closely at pics and I think its correct. Its a 64 spoke heritage hub with a 21" rim hoop. All the spokes (inner and outer) on one side of the hub go to the "outer" holes on the rim. From what I can see...
