Anyone running pods on there stock '75 carbs? Which ones? Thanks...

Opinions... Any problems with this stuff. My '75 XS has light surface rust on the inside that keeps coming back. Do I try it or not? I've heard bad things about it.

But I need to order new tires and I want to upgrade to wider but don't want to go to far and they not fit. Anybody running 120 or 130 on the rear and 100 on the front? ('75 XS650 bone stock no mods.)

I've lowered the shocks on my '75 XS so now the sidestand is a hair to long and makes the bike stand more upright than I feel safe with. Is there a different year model sidestand I can use to give it more angle. Thanks.

I've been wanting to change the angle of the rear shocks on my '75 XS but haven't been able to find anything that would do that. I always could find lowering kits for the CB750s I've had, heck I've even got a set on my '76 GL1000. But for my '75 XS....nothing! Till last week. Ebay comes through...

Several years ago I had a 16" rim laced to my '75 XS650 hub. A good friend of mine. who is a great engine mechanic, did it for me. There is less clearance on the right side of the tire than the left side. My question is, is it possible he laced the rim off center just a little? Can that be done...

My gauges on my '75 XS vibrate and turn in the cases when the engins running. Not much, but still it bugs me. What the fix for that? Thanks.

I really want to beef up the tires on my stock 1975 XS650. Looks like the main problem will be the chainguard on the rear. I want to run a 130/90-18 on the rear and a 100/90-19 on thr front. I know this does not help the handling, may even cause handling problems but it's what I would like to...

What are the two rubber tubes between the carbs on my 1975 XS650 for? Can they be removed and pluged? Would there be any benefit to that? Would it cause any problems?

At slow speed or while pushing it the front brakes on my 1975 XS650 makes a howling sound. Is not realy a squeal but a lower sound. What do I need to do. Pads, flush the system, bleed the lines..? Thanks

I was just reading in my clymers manual that the early XS650B had a problem dipstick. It apears they were too short from what I get by reading the manual. Anyone know anything about that? How can I tell if I have the right one??? Thanks.

The 1975 XS650 I bought a couple of weeks ago has red rear turn signals lens. I was looking on eBay for some stock amber color ones and there seems to be several listings for red one. Was red the factory color on the 1975 rear lens? Thanks.

Does the air/fuel miture screw on the outside of the carb only effect the idle, or does it also effect the crusing range? I know I should know that, but I don't.
