So looks like the carbs were removed (for cleaning) before it was wrapped. So complete less the carbs I though I had.

Yes, stock electrical 1978 model complete with carbs. Cover to cover but no externals like coils or wiring. -=Phyber

Head and valve cover, complete with valves, springs, and rocker arms. Missing one spring retainer and it's keeper. Dirty and carboned, but no visible cracks, good spark plug hole threads, and fins in good order. In other words serviceable. Not sure what year, only marking I find is 6C60 stamped...

OK, pulled these out of storage for someone and buyer reneged... Available now: Left side is the one Yamaha made out of unobtainium. Set sold only together. $100 shipped in US. One week here then to Ebay. -=Phyber

No brake, and you'll need to add bearings, but in great shape otherwise. -=Phyber

Got a set of chrome drum front and rear spoke rims, and a set of Alloy cat piss spoke wheels, a set of front forks on lower triple tree and I could dig up an axle to go with.

Mikes XS has repro side covers but not the lowers for the Heritage. Yamaha must have made the left ones out of unobtainum as the rights are on ebay quite often but I don't recall seeing a left there ever.

Pretty clean, no cracks no gouges, all tits and clips. $65 for the left, $35 for the right, have to take em both and I'll cover shipping.

The 1975 XS500B was the last year of the XS 500 model. http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/yamaha_xs500b_1975.php It is a twin and certainly worth some time in reviving for the price. ;-) -=Phyber
