Hey, somehow managed to lose all my engine casing bolts. Looked on various websites which sell the 18pcs i seem to need but theyre all in America. Can anyone tell me what size all the different Alan bolts are for the engine casing so i can just pick some up for pennies instead of spending a fortune.
So I bought an xs2 that me and a friend are building into something new, no previous xs2 experience, just learning as i go. The bike was in pieces when i bought it and I am now wondering, as the bike has a starter motor, should there be a start button, or was it all part of the decompression...
I have an XS2 that I'm having a new frame made for. Ive been told to get a taper roller bearing steering head conversion kit, anyone know where I can pick one of these up?
So I bough a beat up old XS2. I've replaced the condenser, spark plugs, point and the carbs are off getting bits done. Before the carbs went off to get cleaned up I couldn't get it started. I'm guessing it may be the timing. Anyone got any suggestions of anything else it may be and or can let me...
Yeah this is what I was wondering. The bike came pretty much in bits so I wasn't sure if what I was looking for was just missing or if it wasn't there to start with. I think it's jist missing though
I have neither.
No ignition switch and no key.
That's why I was asking if this bike needed a key at all.
The bikes 20 years older than me so there's a lot of things I don't know about it haha.
