I put a cozy sidecar on an XS650. It works great. The XS makes plenty of power, and will go 70 MPH, maybe faster with this sidecar attached. I did build a subframe to mount the sidecar properly. I have a friend that has a Ural sidecar rig, it works good but I like mine more.

A XS750 steering triple clamp will only work if you swap the XS650 stem into the XS750 bottom triple tree. The XS750 stem is too short. Easy to do if you have access to a press. You will also have to add a small washer under the bottom steering bearing to give enough clearance for the frame.

Stock XS650 cable will work fine. You will have to do some slight reforming of the EX500 cable bracket, but pretty easy. A push cable is not needed.

I wanted to use the stock throttle pull and switch housing, so I used the stock XS650 throttle cable to use with the EX500 carb. All I did was rework the new carbs existing cable bracket to hold the XS650 throttle cable in place. A little crimping and a little boring (took all of 15 minutes)...
