    Hi Gary, Yes, tried that and it is...I took off the custom rear set and mountimg plates and verified that the complete rotation arc is about 170 degrees and I am able to get about 150 bit risk hitting the brake lever pad.     Oh....just buffing the polish with what product? Were your forks previously biffed down to to base aluminum or just maintaining the original clear coat (which was applied by factory)?

    Just stripped the gold painted forks on my 650 and polished them down to a bright finish. Should I leave them as is or spray clear coat on them? Anyone have comments on either option? Thanks in advance
