How good are the master cylinder kits as seen on ebay for the XS-2 (around $20, shipping included)? Seems to be about less than half the price of an equivalent K&L kit. Thanks in advance!

The battery on my XS-2 is deader than a door nail (won't hold a charge). Looking for a reasonably-priced AGM replacement. I usually by Yuasa, but as I may be selling the bike, I don't think I want to pay so much for a Yuasa. So what are other's using? Thanks!

In need of a U.S. source for the chrome, domed-head handlebar clamp bolts. NLA from Yamaha. The ones currently on my XS-2 are allen head black bolts, and not correct. There is a U.K. supplier for these, at the dollar equivalent of $4.25 EACH, plus shipping. Hope to find a more reasonble U.S...

Trying to find a U.S. source for the air cleaner-to carb rubber joint, p/n 256-14453-00. Mine are hard as a rock, and need replacing. MIke's XS does not stock these, and apparently the only other source (?) is Yambits in England. Thanks in advance!

Anyone got a spare steering damper guide (nut)? My just-bought XS-2 is missing it. Part number 256-23434-00. NLA from Yamaha. (number 29 in attached drawing). I've seen a couple on ebay, but are either over-priced, or come with parts I don't need. Thanks in advance!

Just got this very clean XS-2 out of Texas last week. 18K plus miles, and bought for well under $5K. Previous owner re-painted the frame; body work appears to be original, with slight fading on the tank top. New tires, AGM battery, chrome VGC to excellent, Mike's XS mufflers, electronic igniton...

Looking for decent XS-2 fuel tank, as dent and rust free as possible. Minor interior rust ok. XS-1/1B tank will work too, of course, as I intend to paint it in XS-2 stock colors. Thanks in advance!
