    Wanted - 2 into 1 header for 1981 XS

Looking for a 2 into 1 header for my XS. Bought headers that don't quite bolt up to the engine (must be for a earlier model?) And decided that I'd rather go with a 2 into 1 setup and try to find a supertrapp or something. Located in Nashville, TN

What have you done to your XS today?

Yes, it was! First and foremost hope the project is going well. Having a hard time finding a 2 into 1 right now that is equal length to each cylinder, so also somewhat serious ;) I would buy it from you if you were selling it, lol

Checking in to say hello from Nashville, not too far from ya! Jealous of this ride you've got planned. Always wanted to ride the Trace southward myself. Be safe and if you're ever in the Nashville area stop by and say hey.

Do you have any idea which gasket fits these? Looking on MikesXS I am not entirely sure if this one is it.. https://www.mikesxs.net/keyster-premium-nencho-carb-kit-xs650-special-1980-1984.html?fits-motorcycle=Yamaha%2FXS650%2Fall-models%2F1981

What have you done to your XS today?

Update, float bowls are both POURING fuel out as soon as I turn on the manual petcock. Carbs are some cheap chinese VM34 knockoffs. I've got some BS34's in need of a rebuild, so I intend to just rebuild those I suppose, unless anyone has any suggestions. The BS carbs will work with a manual...

What have you done to your XS today?

She runs!! As mentioned a few pages ago, when I got this the wiring was a mess. Pulled together some new wire, fuses and terminals, my SV650 battery, cheap killswitch, sanded down and tested my grounds then made a little test harness. This is the most wiring I've ever done. So good to hear it...
