    New project started

    First job on the new project. Lengthen steering stem 15mm & check fitment of 43mm CBR 600F4i front end. 760mm axle to top compares to 770mm on the 81 Special. New fork tubes & clip-ons are ordered.

    What ignition coils?

    What ignition coils should I run on the bike? 1981 Special running Boyer ignition with the blue box. I have 2 new single Sakura coils or the dual wire that is currently on the wiring loom.

    750 or Stock?

    Going through all the bits & pieces to put an engine together & there's 750 pistons/barrels with low usage, a stock set with pistons & another set of barrels. Do I fit the 750. stock or bore & fit o/s new pistons? I'm trying to keep it as original as I can apart from some reliability upgrades.
