As of 3/10, has anyone bought from them or talked with them recently? I've been trying to place an order but the PayPal link doesn't work(server connection error for the past week), won't complete the order with my CC, and they haven't responded to any emails in over a week as well.

Yes, if you still had your original guide you would grind it flush then drill and bolt the SR500 guide to it after removing its rear mounts. I was going to do this myself but I'd rather just track down a new guide as you'll need other parts and tools to accomplish this.

Anybody holding extra cam chain masterlinks and front chain guides for later 447 engines? I need two of each. Thanks

I was thinking it could possibly be the plates as well, they're originals and the previous owner didnt take care of this engine at all so the clutch would definitely benefit from new plates. I've got the XS1 clutch in my 81 engine now so I'm going to revisit it here soon once I get another frame...

Good news bump! Took my 69 XS1 chop up to CHP and got a firm handshake of approval. After an hour wait at the DMV and maybe 2mins of shootin the shit with the clerk, I walked out with a shiny new plate and the title will be in the mail! 2 builds down, three to go!
