    XS650 Craigslist postings depository

http://baltimore.craigslist.org/mcy/4069407148.html My bike for sale. $2800 obo. Completed with much help from this site, so thank you to everyone. It was bought and paid for with loan money as mechanical therapy during graduate school, so I'd be a little sick if (when) it got wrecked. -Wes

    ABS vs Fiberglass Cafe Seats

Hey guys, Finally got the tabs trimmed off from the stock seat, the rear hoop cut off, and my mounting system worked out. I'm going to be using the system I found on dotheton link below (bottom of the page, using rubber stoppers and hose clamps) since it needs no welding, is cheap, and seems...

How to remove a stubborn main jet BS38's question?

I used a drill bit and allen key of the same measurement. Drilled into the jet, tapped the allen key into the slightly small hole with a hammer. Came out like buttah. If it slips you either didnt get the allen key far enough in to get a grip or it needs more penetrating oil. I think the...

    ABS vs Fiberglass Cafe Seats

Yeah, for the bug eye I did. Otherwise the seat would have to be mounted a few inches above the frame, which would not look very clean. Some of their more bulky seats might fit, like the phat tail. -Wes

    ABS vs Fiberglass Cafe Seats

I was wondering if anyone had seen some of these ABS cafe seats in person. They're now being sold on mikesxs, but are also available at http://www.legendary-motorcycles.com/caferacerseats.html I was wondering if these are strong enough to be suspended on mounting bolts like fiberglass...
