Hey guys. Just tried cutting the stock mufflers off on a 79' XS. Got the weld cut and separated from the inner pipe but the muffler just doesn't want to let go. It feels like something is holding onto it from farther up in the muffler. Connecting pipe maybe? Any advice guys? Garrett

so i've been searching around, and cant seem to find any canadian stores that offer builder kits with 1.5" mandrel bends, found lots online, columbia river has a kit that works out to 69 bucks... it's 65 to ship it, the tc bros one is 79 bones, and that one is 60 bucks to ship it is there...

I'm planning on replacing my exhaust and perhaps putting on pods. From what I have gathered, I will have to rejet my carbs after doing that. What is involved for that? I don't want to just have to buy a bunch of different needles, so can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Anyone ever run the Biltwell Mini Mufflers on an xs? I know they only come in 1 3/4" inlets but I am looking for small mufflers to use on my project. I like their overall smaller diameter as well as being able to be re-packed.
