I took the front fairing off and the rear box. These two side pieces were in the rear box and I didn't see where they actually went. The sissy bar and seat are off and it had the twisted square chrome front foot.
Have you guys ever seen this setup?
Any idea what it might be worth?

Hi Folks
I just picked up my first bike ever. You could call it a barn score (minus the barn), A 1977 xs650d! The owner didn't have much memory as to the bikes running conditions, where its keys were, or why he hadn't ridden it since 1988 (a year after I was born)... but the price was right...
Cosmetic Changes: NOS fenders, crash bar/foot pegs, seat trim and tail light swap (not a fan of the Mickey Mouse reflectors on the tail light that came with NOS fender). Swapped to a 3 post mount tail light that came with the bike in the before photo.
Still looking for a king/queen seat...

While barely out of the weeds on my first XS build, I spied a good deal on a '73 TX650 on craigslist and could not resist spending money I really shouldn't have been spending :)
My plan is to get the bike running and safe and then sell it as a resto. Out here in LA they're in pretty high...

Hey Everyone,
I would like to introduce myself and say what a great forum this is, I really enjoy all the knowledge and helpful threads.
