    I'm at a loss I have rebuilt a few engines. but for the life of me I can't get this mikes chain on. I keep coming up two teeth short. I have tried using spacers and bolting the head down took the sump back off to ensure it is not bunched up down there. I took the bearings off the cam and had no...

    when im putting on the timing chain i line up the mark on the stator to put in on TDC, but which cylinder should be on the compression stroke when the mark on the cam is up. I assume it will be the left one but i just wanted to be sure.
