According to Clymer, the XS650H takes an inner tube and the SH takes tubeless tires. Both of the tires on my XS650H say tubeless on the sidewall but they are on the spoke wheels.

Can anyone tell why you shouldn't use a rear tire on the front of your bike. I'm looking for a wide ( 4" ) front tire with an aggressive tread and some that I have my eye on are classified as rear. Does this really matter?
Just starting a build and looking for tires. Im looking at the shinko vintage tire for the back. Are they good? Also a dumb question maybe but what width of a rim would i need for a mt-90/16. My bikes got an 18 on it now and wanting to switch over to a 16.
