Needs a lot. A good winter project.

Got the engine out. Will a 1972 wire harness work with a 1971? I know there is no starter.

Got a little more done today. The front axle will not brake loose. The swing arm and rear axles were no problem.
I need help lifting the motor on the bench.

Prolly? other than E-start not a LOT more to a 72 and the lights are still on the LH control

25 years standstill ..Low mileage .Zero as first again Unbelievable ..
How is the plan ..starting it ..will the oil seals be gone ?

I need help lifting the motor on the bench.

Save your back, get a chain hoist, they’re inexpensive on EBay. You can do it one handed without even setting your coffee down. I lifted the engine , drug the bench under it, set it down and pushed the bench back to the wall..
