FOR SALE: 1973 Yamaha TX650 XS650 Chrome Front Fender Assembly with front stay and rear stay.
The fender also installs on 1972 xs2 xs650 bikes as well. The fender was installed and removed from a "Brilliant Red" 1972 xs2 xs650.
This fender is in very good condition, some signs of use, rustproofing undercoated, straight.

I am interested in obtaining a new front fender for my 72 XS2 650 since mine is damaged but my fender looks different at the mounting brackets then this one. Is this perhaps a 73 fender? The fender does look great!

I have an XS2 and that’s exactly like mine and I think it’s original

XS2 fenders and 73 fenders do not have a detent on both sides for brake lines.

Yes, the 72 front fender should have spacers on the brake side.
I think the following thread should answer all early fender questions if you go to the trouble of reading the whole thing.

This certainly explains it all thanks for showing me that post. The pictures that Mailman put up of the fenders are the exact fender that I have on my bike. Appreciate the help!
