1975 fork tube compatibility

Rebuilding the forks on a project 75' and noticed that the fork tubes on the bike are quite pitted at the seals. I can't seem to find any new 75' fork tubes for sale anywhere, and have not found a clear answer in the forums as to whether the 72/73 tubes can work. Does anyone have any further info as to where I can find some fork tubes that will work?

Yes with a caveat. You would have to use damper tubes from a 72. 72 has different size dampers than 75.
I'm using 75 tubes and dampers with progressive 75 springs in my 72 XS2.

Damper tubes as in the damper rod spacers?
