I purchased this bike with the intension of converting it into a flat tracker. After careful consideration, I decided the bike was too nice to cut up. I did find a bike that was already partially done and purchased it. So I’m selling this bike.

Agree with zrx1100. I see far more "modified" XS650s for sale than essentially bone-stock ones like this. Without looking too closely the only mods I see are long fork gaiters and a recovered seat (which actually looks comfortable!).

Strictly out of curiosity you understand shrug, but what are you asking for it, and where is it located?

I actually found two basket case XS650’s. One that was started as a café racer and the other was completely disassembled. The disassembled bike has some welding done to the rear engine mount on the frame and it wasn’t aligned properly when welded. I’ll likely machine fixtures that will precisely position the engine mount and fix it. I’m thinking of a TT bike and a café racer for the two bikes.

I needed space in my garage, so I moved the bike to my place in High Point, NC. I go back and forth regularly so I can bring bike back to MD if serious buyer was interested in bike.
