2 pages later.......... after another #40 posts and still arguing about using a car battery.......................... And the advise given and stated by the op, that he was advised to start a bike with a car battery and shut it off straight away if it started..........

@TomMead come back. We're back on track. (It was like two bald men fighting over a comb in any case).

Yep. People like the 75 because of the paint job but the 77 was the bees knees most people agree.

My advice? What was told to me when I started.

Get a multimeter
clean all the bullet connectors
time spent sitting on a stool and cleaning bits is not time wasted (you spot things)
Post some photos. These guys love photos.

Come back and ask about stuff. These guys are like the fourth emergency service.
