Ran when parked. Motivated seller.
2F0-173782 which makes it a 1979 XS650 SF Special.
Seems to be completely intact with all tabs, studs, etc.
Seems to be completely straight with no dents, dings, cracks, damage, or repairs.
Was lightly sprayed black by the previous owner.
Clean Texas title. Make offer.

That looks like a Special frame. The rear muffler, footpeg mount is a loop on the Standard model.

Yes, you are definitely right. I'm going to edit the original post.
The VIN says 1979 Standard. I looked at a couple of different VIN I.D. charts. I don't know why it doesn't jive with the charts correctly. But yes, it's deffinitely a Special.

Okay, I finally found an I.D. chart that was correct. Had to go to the site of Michael Mercury Morse:
http://www.650central.com/tech/modelchart.htm
1979 XS650 SF
The chart in the Tech section is also correct. I was just reading it wrong.
The chart that has it wrong is the one on the MikesXS site... of course...

That chart has its faults as well. Obviously is the CDI instead if TCI and the Oceania 3W6 80SG and 5A9 81SH, (they have as Euro models), never got the Electronic ignitions they stayed with points. They lump all other countries not US-Canada into Euro models, Confusing
