1980 xs 650 warm up ignition problem

Yes have a cup of hot water handy, dip the needle with plastic in, the pill will then slip off the needle, the washer must go between the pill and the E-clip.
Only ONE washer per needle.

That washer has to go on top of the c clip or the needle jet will move up through the spring...the plastic washer just pushes on jet its not tight....unless i get another washer for up top

From the factory there should be a large washer, that sits on top of the e-clip. The small washer we want you to add is placed between the e-clip and plastic pill which should be a snug fit on the needle.

Thanks guys ....The washer under needle jet made it run much better, plus cleaning pilot jets etc...in garage just off idle, still feel a little rough stumble cold engine, past there its ok...taking off from start no stumble....so i will leave it at that....spark plugs look ok after run on hwy....i like the 32 tooth rear sprocket, stock front ...75mph...5k rpm

Those 3mm washers I sent you work, or did you have to find others?

Yes Jim one washer worked on each carb....i will check spark plug cond in few hundred miles if i need one more....thanks again...
