1980 xs intake boots

Hi all... i got a pair off e bay to replace my cracked intake boots that still function ok...i notices the rubber part is tapered ..is that normal..but i see the metal bracket does not fit flush....i checked with Mikes parts and these fit the BS38S........should i not worry about this..

Yes Here in Europe at least boots looks for another installation

Yes i know i have the 34s...just saying Mikes only show the boots up to 1977 for the 38s ...lol

Yes, the '78-'79 BS38 intake boots w/ the vacuum take-off nipples are very hard to come by, have been for years. I used the '77 ones on my '78, installing the vacuum ports myself.
