Update! Tank is painted, clear coated, and bunged up! Fuel line and filter in! Front brake painted (needs a respray), new piston and re-used seals that I soaked in brake fluid for a few days. Installed the cheap-o eBay line and bled it. Everything works and no leaks yet. Line is obviously waaaaaay too long. New one is on the way.
Went through quite a few phases before landing on this paint job. Was getting way to complicated so I just went with something wacky old-school bold and bright.
I am going to add thin gold pinstripes on each line for a little pop.
It lives and breathes! Open pipes until I sort the mufflers out. Using UNI angled pods so they will interfere less with the soon to be made battery box. Gotta say, I LOVE not having to time this thing. Two thumbs up for the TCI so far.
Feels pretty dang good to hear that for the first time.
Noticed some “Bubs Mufflers” on EBay today. I did modify a pair of Bubs a few years back to fit a 78 Standard. They are very thick and durable , good looking, and they have a tone you might go for. AND the right inlet diameter..
