Hello Friends,
My 1980 xs650 wont start and here are the things that i have done so far.
1) I replaced my spark plug to new ones as the previous one was black (Too much fuel in the Mixture) so i started off by replacing the spark plugs. I replaced it with recommended NGK Copper Core Plug Number BPR7ES.
2) I figured there is a float sticking in a carb bowl. So I gave some good whacks on the bottom part of my carb bowl so the impact and the vibration will unstick the float.
Its a kick start and the battery is fine as the headlight still comes on after the first kick, but the engine wont start. Plenty of gas as well.
Any thoughts and recommendation will be helpful.
