Edited to correct the year of the first bike. 1975 not 1976.
Willing to part out the horde. Will only ship small stuff, not whole bikes. Allow me to clarify. I will not part out the 75 or the 77. Anything that is already in pieces i will ship out. Thanks gang. Winter is coming, get your shop project on.

If you follow this link. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lniUeyY9h3lQ-7e987jhZ-XWERzIJ9Ep?usp=sharing

It will take you to my google drive. What you will see is the following:

1-1975 xs650 with the engine and wiring harness of a 79 special. This was my father in law's. It was in pieces in a barn and I put it back together for him. I had to get a donor bike for the engine, hence the 1979 engine and harness. Titled, registered in NY. Current inspection. This one is capable of getting on the road, you need a battery and perhaps a tune up. I was in the process earlier this summer of putting Sportster mufflers on when the old man died and I lost all interest in working on the bike, I'm sure you understand.
--------------
1 1977 xs650 which I bought to chop up and turn into a brat style bike, hence the Monstercraftsman brat kit.
I did get this one running just to make sure it ran when I bought it. I have since parked it in the basement and done nothing to it. Registered in NY. Needs mucho love.
---------------
1 1979 XS650 special rolling chassis. Mag wheels, disc brakes front and rear. This was the donor for father in law's bike. NO TITLE. My intent was to scrap it.
----------------
Engine case for 1976 xs650. This is the original engine casing for the first bike. The pistons were seized up and it wasn't worth my time to change out pistons and cylinders so I bought the donor.
----------------
All of the internal parts from the above engine, packed in grease and wrapped up. The engine only had around 6k miles on it when my Father in law parked it back in the 80's. The donor bike had a shift issue so I swapped out the transmission from this engine to that one. The loose tranny parts are from the 79 special.
----------------
The buckets are full of parts from the the 76 and 79. Including another set of carbs, headlight and all sorts of goodies. All of it is XS 650.
---------------
Original owners manual, chilton manual and Shop manual(the last is in a binder.)
-----------------
Multiple sissy bars, black rear fender with light cluster, 2 more seats. Brand new Athena gasket set. Some generic "bullet" turn signals. Lastly, A german made oil filter adapter plate. This type allows you to use automotive style spin on oil filters. Comes with stainless bolts and gasket, brand new unused.

If you have interest let me know. Pick up only, central New York state, near Utica. Make me an offer.

Thanks,
Sam

Thanks for the offer but I just picked up a couple and really don't have the room for more but I will pass on the info.

Edited to make offer. Willing to part out. Only willing to ship smaller things. Whole bikes I won't ship. There is a whole lot here folks. Start winging offers my way.

Thanks,

I have a 78 special. I need engine mounts, clutch lever/ cable , throttle lever and cable . Clutch rod , tank rubber grommets, steering column bearings, and a drive chain. That’s a lot of little things I would need shipped , maybe we can make a deal if you got some stuff that will fit a 78 special

I will have to go through what I have to see what still exists. I will tell you that the throttle and clutch cables that I have are shot. Regarding the things I have that fit your bike, I wouldn't know. The clutch rod I have came off of a 75, you will have to determine if that fits your bike. Steering bearings I am sure are shot, chains are shot. As for levers, just the lever or the mounts as well?

For the levers, I would like the mounts yes. My handlebars are stripped clean.
