Continuing my street tracker build as part of the build-off! Hven't done anything on this for a couple months so it was a good time to get back on it!
I've been going over and over in my head on what to do for a tail section. I knew it needed something but I just wasn't happy with anything I came up with. Spoke with my Dad about it to get something going, he had a good idea, I modified that a bit, tweaked it to my liking and got started. About 5hrs worth of work, but I took a bunch of 1/4" round bar into this:
A small LED tail-light will go in that flat spot at the back. Still need to skin it, and add mounting tabs, but I'm really happy with how it's coming out. Covers the bottom of the seat nicely, and slims up the rear of the bike.
I don't know yet if it 100% matches the style of the bike, but that's what it going to be.
