Many thanks. I sold this bike to a fellow on Vancouver Island. He could hardly wait to get his hands on it. I have one of my own - the black mostly stock 1976 - on the list of bikes for the calendar on page 2 I think.

650skull nominated my bike, thanks dude, so here it is. It is a 1975 US import XS650B. It was a scruffy runner when I bought it. I was going to bobber it, but it was too good to cut it up, so I restored it but, I painted it in a sort of XS1B style.
Man, every time I look at that bike I like it more! The stance, forks, brakes, bodywork and of course that gorgeous paint job!
One of my favorite customs.

I think a mini front mud guard and something over the chain would really seal it for me. Seriously great looking bike though…you don’t see a lot of purple done tastefully.

Good news is both of those are on the list. I just haven’t spoken to @Jim yet about yet more paint work haha
Well it finally stopped raining this afternoon so I got a chance to take a few outdoor pics of the LSR bike. I plan on getting better pics if the sun ever comes back out. I tried to cover the building of this project from start to finish in the build thread https://www.xs650.com/threads/new-last-build-thread-maybe.65062/.
