2026 Calendar Nominations Thread

Hey all,

Nominations are now open for the 2026 XS650 Calendar! We'll keep nominations limited to 35. Let's see if we can get 35 before the end of September! We are giving plenty of time for nominations and voting. We are going to limit nominations to 3 so more members can get nominations in. Timing subject to change so follow this thread.

Calendar Phases (dates subject to change)
Phase 1: NOMINATIONS - Ends Sep 30th or 35+ nominations (whichever comes sooner)
Phase 2: VOTING STAGE - Ends Oct 21st
Phase 3:
WINNING ENTRIES SEND INFO - by Nov 11th
Phase 4)
• PRODUCTION - TBD

NOMINATIONS - Ends September 30th
or 35+ Bikes (whichever comes sooner)
1. Nominate up-to 3 bikes that you'd like to see in the calendar for 2025. Nominee must be a member with their bike or build posted on XS650.com. Photo and Member Name included in nomination post.
2. Contact the bike owner and let them know of the nomination and verify.
3. Nominations must be accepted by owner to be included in the voting thread.
4. You ARE allowed to self nominate
5. No seconds necessary

I nominate my Yamaha XS650-1976
Aluminium swinging arm, electronic ignition, full engine rebuild-700cc, reworked suspension
to handle the twin discs, brakes upgraded, new wiring harness, upgraded carbs, two bolts, two pins and it's back to a two seater

Can't nominate 2 bikes. Although a person had 2 of their bikes in the voting stage only one was allowed to go through if both were voted in.

Choose 1 to put forward

We can't have two bikes nominated with one picture, but has anyone ever self-nominated two of their own bikes? Do we have a precedent that says they can't? I believe it's allowed. I know that there have been a few years with two bikes by the same owner, but I think they were nominated by others.
