So I started mocking up the bike and I came to the point of which I'm choosing the stance I want . After lifting the front until the lower frame tube was level I loosened up the triple tree clamps and let the fork tubes slide down to measure the difference in length. I settled on +4 inches. Know the questions is what do I do to the front end . Do I try to find a springer or some other front end? I pretty much decided to just replace the fork tubes and the top triple clamp . I found 2 options. Mikes xs and tc bros . Mikes are about 100 bucks cheeper but the tc bros. Site mentions something about harder chrome? Anyways I thought I would put up a post , 1 to show y'all my progress and 2 to get any options you all may have. So let me know mikes or tc? Or if you think I should go in another direction let me know that to. Also also there are a bunch of different aftermarket triple tree top clams out there. I have narrowed it down to 2 different vendors. I'll let you know what I pic when I do , but if you have an option on that to please let me know. Thanks

If you're certain on 4" over tubes, I'd definitely go with TC Bros over the Mike's offering.

First though, you need to be certain those are the wheels and tires you're gonna run. Any change in overall diameter will change the ride height.

Why are you changing the top clamp?
For a while I thought about changing the wheels but I really want to ride it 5his summer so for now I'll stick with the mags. I can always make changes later, I'm mean if I come by a set of nice rims the front will stay the same but the back would raise up a little. At that point i would have a few options but worst case I could just pend another 250 and chang forks again. Maybe even a rear fender adjustment. But for this summer I'm gonna ride with the mags. As for the top triple tree I'm changing it purely for the looks.
