I'm not sure if you're aware of it or not but the brake cam isn't exactly symmetrical. You can't see it with the naked eye but one corner is ground off slightly more than the one diagonally opposite from it. This is done so both shoes are moved the same amount and applied with the same force. To aid in assembling it correctly, Yamaha stamped a dot or dimple on the top of the splined shaft .....

Went with the TC Bros. kickstand. I think it's time to bolt the motor in her.

I lay mine on their side for motor install. No oil in the motor and pick it up sideways in a cradle.

Hmm. I don't have any oil in it now. I might give that a try.

The Speedmasters are tubeless to my memory. Did you have any fitment problems with the stock rims? I’m working on updating a build as well and am choosing tires now.
