What goes wrong and can it be fixed ?
I've got a 650B tank somewhere, but I can't find the cap or lock (never had a key anyway).
These things seem to fetch silly prices over here, but I'm not exactly sure why.
If I can understand exactly what the problems are, I can hopefully avoid being ripped off if I have to buy a second hand tank/cap or whatever.
An alternative plan could be to buy a later model tank, with the tougher and commonly available late type cap and lock.
Then get it painted in '75 colours.
But I think that might bug me everytime I looked at the bike.
I'll have to give that idea some more thought.
