I dropped the seat a while and been putting off painting it again for quite a while. But I finally got around to stripping it back and straightening it. It's now repaired and repainted, so I'll give it a couple of weeks to harden and then take it in to the motor trimmer for covering. while I was at it, I also painted the gear lever, brake pedal and front brake calipers. Spilt some brake fluid on them. I dropped an allen key on the tank a while back, so that'll have to be repainted too, putting that off for as long as possible, I hate painting tanks! It's a very small dent, but it's on top, right next the cap.
I'm currently working on an aluminium catch can. I was going to plumb the reed valve breather straight to the pancake filters, but changed my mind - somewhat: I'll plumb the read valve to the catch can, then either on to the filters or through a separate filter, haven't decided yet. The catch can will be mounted to the right rear engine mount and be situated under the pancake filter. That of course means a new engine mount.
