So, no one can explain the American health system?
From reading, I gather if you don't have health insurance, you don't get treatment???

If you don't have insurance you just go to the Emergency Room and they treat you for whatever ails ya. If you don't have assets (to lose if they sue), the hospital eats the bill and then passes on the cost to everyone that has insurance. It'd be another "mini-rant" to expound

We do have public hospitals and free clinics, but like most things that are free........

You get treatment no matter insurance. If you have insurance or a lot of money, no problem. If you have nothing, no problem. If you have some money and no insurance, you’re bankrupt.
That’s it in a nutshell.

I think US healthcare is the most expensive in the world, or close to it.
