Air/Fuel Gauge ?

Was reading a website here

where a fellow uses an air/fuel gauge to dial in his automotive carbs. Has anyone ever tried to use something like this to dial in their bike?

I've often wondered this myself. I picked one of these up off of eBay http://www.gunson.co.uk/item.aspx?cat=673&item=1854 and tried it. It works OK.

Did you install an oxygen sensor in the pipes?

The Gunson Colortune is essentually a special stark plug that's glass so you can see the color of the spark. With it in there inplace of the spark plug you adjust the air screw, orange is rich while white is lean. So you adjust so the color is white with a hint or orange.
