Very nice! Displacement? Very similar in overall appearance/configuration to my Suzuki TS125.I grew up on dirt bikes and still keep my eye open for another one. I had this a couple of years ago and wish I would have kept it. Really lightweight and a joy to ride. Super easy to work on and parts were east to find. This was a ‘78 DT175E. And yes, I could carry it on the back of my truck too!
I can picture this bike with a mild off-road "conversion". Fun ride!classic trail dog?

I like old Hondas. My '75 XL125/145. These can run without a battery, even with lights.
You only live once! Why is it that I have such an affinity for these small-bore bikes??? I have a KE100. a TS 125 with a TS185 engine/dual-range gearbox, an SP 100, a TTR 230 as well as the XT and XS's. I am lusting after a trio of late-'70's XL 250 that are for sale locally at $500 each and may yet succumb to that lust.

Yup! I had an XL250 back when I was in high school, it had been stripped of its lights and had a bigger fuel tank. Back when most guys were screaming around on two strokes, I was chugging around on my Honda. It would just cruise up steep hills that the two strokes really struggled with.

That would be a nice bike to scoot around on. What year is that one? Did they stick to conventional shocks or did they eventually go to mono shock?
