I made an engine stand a couple of years ago when I put the engine together, no idea what happened to it, must be hiding with all the 10 mm spanners. So today I made another, front mount is static but rear mount is folding. I'll move it into the garage and put a plastic bag over it, while I do some work on the frame.

Nice work. Is this for mainly working on the motor or will you be test running the motor in this stand as well? I like the design of it, and would be cool if you could make a sort of table with legs that come down then angle to be able to slide inside the channels, then keep the electric start bits and battery mounted to the table. All set up when you're ready but out of the way when working on it.

Neither, just to stop it toppling over whilst it's stored away.
I made this one a couple of years ago, for assembling and starting, it has wheels and a built in electrical system.
I'm a compulsive maker of things, I even have one to hold the frame while I assemble everything on it.
I'd really like to know what I did with my bench engine stand though, can't find the thing anywhere, must have recycled it to something else.
