Any sources for Street Tracker glass?

Any sources or anyone with an Omar’s they are looking to sell? I also checked Saddleman, they say it’s for Harley and can’t guarantee fit, Gopherglass requires cutting/modifying the hoop which I am reluctant to do for resale. I have tried multiple attempts at reaching Red Max Speed Shop - they appear to be the best option without modification and include seat. Air tech has option but you need to cut number frame off, no seat and there closing shop…

I am looking at going with Jemco high side and more tracker look over how the bike is today. I was debating leaving current setup with just high side exhaust but not sure the aesthetics on it.

No modification to your bike required.

making your own seat is always an option.

Go slow, be patient.

Relatively speaking, quite easy to do and has almost no upfront cost beyond material. (No special tools needed that you probably don’t have already).

It will take you time, and you will make a mess.

Greetings, I am reviving an old thread, as I am in the same boat as the OP. I read that half mile used GopherGlass on some of his tracker builds and would like to know what is involved in mounting their seats to the 79 xs frame.
I started buying some of the stuff from Omar's a couple of years ago before getting sidetracked by life, and now would like to get back into it. I was lucky enough to get the front wheel adapter and fork brace from Omar, but that's about it. Any additional info would be great!

Well if you haven't already discovered Omar has basically retired and has been trying to sell his business for a year or longer, so there's little actual product left there.
Other glass sources are First Class Glass, Goon Glass and Rubber, Gopher Glass, and maybe Grand Prix Glass. Difficult to say who actually is still providing product but that's where I would start.
I have personally bought some product from Goon and it's as good as anyone. As for attaching some minor fabrication maybe required for any of these builders as most are geared for after market racing frames.

I did talk with Randy @ GopherGlass. His product seems to be readily available, but as you said, not specifically made for the XS frame. I can probably handle a little welding here and there, but I have no experience with fiberglass work.
He also sells taillights that will work best with the XR seat.

I just did an upgrade build on mine this spring and went through Red Max Speed Shop which was store on ebay.uk. Great people, quick response and awesome quality. Contact Steve Hillary at caferacersntrackers@gmail.com. They also did the seat for me which you can choose pattern, material, etc.

Here is pic.

That looks great! It appears that you did not have to cut your frame loop...correct? I also like the exhaust, but can't quite make out the brand. That is a unique tail light too... very nice!

Thanks! Yes i went with Red Max because it keeps the hoop and no frame cutting (https://redmaxspeedshop.co.uk/untit...-STYLE-SEAT-UNIT-STREET-TRACKER-XR-p555927109). They sell a tail meant for XS. I always want to have ability to go back to original if sold. The fairing is fastened with front gas tank bolt and I made spacers and plate that use 6mm threaded holes on battery box top. The back hoop I cut in half 1/2” clear tube so the fairing sits nicely on it. Seat is then velcro on.

Ended up going with Jemco for exhaust, good group of guys and customer service.

Yes light is all setup with running/brake and turn signals - amazon special! Needed to change it some because license plate was mounted down low and now semi-outlawed how it was mounted.

Let me know if you want/need any pictures.

Thats a very unique looking seat/fender set up they have there.

Never seen one that accommodates the rear hoop like that.

I'd sure like to see more pictures of it if you dont mind...I'm intrigued too (as Im the guy that originally started this thread a good while back anyway  ).

I am glad that you checked in. I was curious if you settled on one or if you are still looking for more options.

Yes, Lotsa pics please, sounds great, let us see more on that seat ..

I didnt on mine, you could drill through hoop and put bolt or some kind of “c” bracket under hoop and bolt onto fairing. I will have to look at gap/spacing between two.

That bike's sweet dude, love the exhaust, I'd like to see your rear brake set up if you could. I think I might have similar components and am having trouble placing the rear MC. I bought someone else's project and it's been quite a learning experience, the bike looks good

Appreciate it.

Brake setup is stock location for me except for using 650 Central EBC rotor, pads and Brembo front master cylinder kit. I put on his package which included all parts, pads and SS lines. Here are some pics. image.jpg
