Anyone used this Japanese supplier?

Hi Tony. I can't find the receipt. But my wife always keeps a spreadsheet for every bike build🫣.
In October 2023 I paid £149.13 for two pistons. We're just not sure if I paid any import duty.
I do recall they were a very good price compared to other suppliers.
You are probably well aware that there are two different engines, the 553 and the 447. Plus the earlier XS1 & 2. You need to get the correct pistons I seem to recall.

I believe that they are Taiwanese, not Japanese.
From their about us page - "Cruzinimage is an Japanese based International online shop for vintage and modern motorcycle parts and accessories."

Where their stuff is actually made, I don't know. Multiple places I'd expect.

My apologies. I just checked my email and indeed they are based out of Japan, but some of their parts are manufactured in Taiwan. I had long time ago bought parts for my RD350 from them and some were made in Taiwan. The owner is Mitsuo, cool guy and very fast to respond. It’s a legit company.

Thanks Steve, I'd imagine that price was including carriage and customs.

It all seems a bit random.
I regularly purchased parts from Heiden during my rebuild usually around £200 each time. I had to pay duty once. No idea why.
My experience too. However, I haven't ever paid duty or VAT if I keep the total order value under 130 quid. Only recent time I got stung was on a set of forks from Italy. But they were nearly £300.
