B model front wheel installation help

Cheers(or G'day) Cockytoo, got no problem with the ID of the machines have been using the same link for several years now. My biggest problem is that when I imported the bike from US, it came with a 300mm perforated disc with no caliper which indicated that some amateur had done a botch job on the bike and with the confusion created by A) Lack of decent documentation on Europe version and B) No part numbers on most major components.
Seems funny conversing with Aussie at this time of the year. This is the first time (Except for Covid) that I have not been in WA for Christmas and granddaughters birthdays over the last 15 years. We are now getting too old for the 22 hour journey especially at this time of year and of course the cost, since covid, normally about £1200 but my last trip cost me near £5000.
Gives me chance to work on my bikes even though the temperature in my garage (manshed) is down to -2degree c (Colder than your eskie)
Have a good day and hope Santa is good to you.

Kiora, Ex pat Kiwi. lol. In the coloured ,chart, in the ID link, i confirmed a lot of the different models as can be seen where the tags are. ssconfirmed and changed some of the common vin mistake. This was mainly on the 78-79 models. These are from people who have posted on here with confirmation pics or they have given me the full Vin no.

Use the chart you want but i will say 553 447-500101 is a B, that was confirmed from a UK bike

There is absolutely no doubt about that considering I have had it for 46 years! The US import I have only had for about 7 years, bought for spares but got soft hearted due to it being too good to break.

Is it true that a Kiwi is only an Aussie that can swim?
They can't play cricket either!
Was in Auckland, Whangarei and Dunedin in the late 60's. Our host ship was HMNZS Taranaki.

LOL. Grew up with the heart ache of watching them win a game every 10-20 games. Last 10 years they have been great to watch. won the 1st Word cup, Got to #1 in the world, only lot to youse in the final of the world cup by an umpires wrong interpretation of the law, (one of the greatest games though). should have been a draw, no winner or looser in that game, thrashed by Shrilanka then beat India 3-0 in India now lost to England by 8 wickets. Baz changed the Attitude in NZ cricket, gave them the belief they could do it but for all his brilliance he isn't consistent enough. Hot when hot and for the most part, but like all compulsive gamblers, it's all or nothing with him.

Taranaki is my home province. Sunset pic i took from the lounge of my family homested. Lived, worked there till my late 20's
