Barn Find Build - Cafe Racer

Finally got the front brakes working, got the brake line running from the joint connection to the caliper was clogged with junk. I used some brake parts cleaner and a piece of Mig Welding wire to shove through the brake line to clear it out. I was also able to fit the tube from the cleaner down into the brake line a little and to spray and clear everything through the line. Also need to replace the brake reservoir.

After having the bike running, I was having issues where it would stall out. The bike would start fine while it was on the center stand but as soon as I dropped it down it cut out. Could for the life of me figure it out, I checked for spark and was not getting spark anymore. I had the XS charge ignition installed (only a month old and maybe put 2 miles on it), but I read a few places of issues with them. I ended up buying another one along with a coil (in the process of working to have them replace the old) they were trying to make me believe it was anything but a defective unit. Install the new unit, bike started right up no issues. I was taking the first ride on my way the gym. I made it about 11 miles and it started spitting and sputtering and stalled out. I was unable to get it to start again. I moved it to a nearby lot. The following day I replaced the brand new coil with the original one I had from the first XS charge kit. The bike started but sputters and then dies out. It is getting spark, I bought new plugs (NGK Iridium), cleaned carbs, charged battery (it does charge when bike is running) and new fuel. I found a post on here that someone had this issue with a bad voltage regulator, I am running out of options ideas of what is could be causing this, bike was running good for the 11 miles right until it spit and sputtered.

If you do a forum search for "XS Charge," you'll find it doesn't exactly have a stellar record.
Junk is the first word that springs to mind....
