Motor is low miles, will be testing for compression in a couple weeks with the next 2 weekends being the holidays

And this is the condition I recovered them in was in a garage for many years and about 10 years ago the roof caved in

I know the FZ motor turns

Throw a gallon of gas on them? That must be a joke . Dude do you know what just parts are worth. That’s not what you say to someone who drug these bikes out of a building that was falling down. Sorry poor choice of words.

That was my reaction, too.
Throw a gallon of gas on them, and a match, and put them out of their misery.

If everyone did that there would be no XSs or any other vintage auto or motorcycle. Restorations wouldn't be able to happen.

That first picture hurts my heart... an FJ just like that was my first street bike. It almost killed me on the autobahn in Germany, but what a bike. Very tempted, but I've got 2 XS's to get on pavement first.

The FZ750 looks tops. I am wondering if the gas tank is similar or the same as the RZ500?

The FZ has good plastics and is a good restoration candidate

The FJ has about 2400-2500 miles on the motor
