Looking to replace the clutch set with Barnett, they only have fiber discs , springs but no listing for steel discs , later 1979, 1980 model , racing application, don't think i want to do the 8 plate conversion

+does the outer clutch hub have a ridge on the inside where the plate sits ?
Barnett discs and springs are some of the best on the market. Be sure to get the correct spring length.
I put a set on my 75' in the late 80s.

steel plates are rusted, not going to reuse them, 7 plate clutch, are the steel plates the same from all suppliers ?
I have an 1980 .I vaguely remember differences in the clutches 3 types one older but at about that point in time there was plates with different thickness Dont remember but the outermost friction plate was thinner on later if i Recall right so be careful you get the correct set
