Battery Recommendation for Custom Build

I'm about to begin the challenge of designing an undertray for my build and I'm struggling a little with battery choice.

My bike will be kick only to start and all indicators & lights LED

Essentially I would like the smallest and lightest I can feasibly get away with.

I'm aware of the pitfalls of Lithium in regards to overcharging and there tendency to ignite.

Anyone who's gone down this often travelled path have any advice or what they used? Is a capacitator a valid option?

So I’m torn between the Vape system that Gary Hoos sells and one offered by Pipes N Stuff in the UK, both crank driven for a 277 crank.
