Bent exhaust valve

The head is off and #1 exhaust valve is definitely bent...
the piston head is coated with a gritty grainy soot. The valve stem also had a soot coating like it suffered from lack of oil. The exhaust head gasket was pretty loose on the header as well. I have another head with good valves but newly installed guides in it, have not had the valve seats cut to the valves. (didn't feel like spending $600.00 to own tools I might only use once) Asking for opinions of why the valve decided to rearrange itself. Timing and chain seam to be correct. Only got about 10 hours of ride time, after installing the aforementioned head. The machine has become a headache! Aptly nicknamed Bane...Give me your thoughts...Thanks
