BIG carburation problems after installing 'Hot' cam

I don't know if he actually makes them, but he definitely sells XS650 ignition systems.

From discussions with P+S, when I needed a one off 270 ignition for my bike, he has a guy who builds his electronic boards, but that matters not really. His system is doing a great job on my bike so far. Though for my new xs chop build, which is having a 750 big bore 277 rephased motor in it, I'm fitting a Tri-Spark system, which I'm hearing good reviews about.

You can shim the needles by adding a washer and get 1/2 step increments. Maybe that would help?

I used 1/8" pop rivet washers once upon a time...

I use stainless M3 washers. A whole big ol' bag of 100 cost me less than a buck, lol .......

Mikuni needle clip slots are 1mm apart and these washers are about a half MM thick, hence the half step increments you can achieve by adding one washer.
