have a left side cover for an 83?
I have a few right-side covers, but for some reason, no 1983 left-side covers.
I have a very nice 1983 cover emblem, if that helps.
It's easy enough to drill a hole in a later cover where it needs to be for the 71 lower rear case screw, the cover has a wide spot where it goes.

Thanks for that info, Gary...I think I might just go that route for now!
The top of the 1976 on sidecover back by the sprocket has a rounded rather than square corner but with that lower hole drilled it bolts on just fine.
